Negros Occ. Gov. Bong Lacson delivered the State of the Children’s Address during the Provincial Children’s Month Culmination, this afternoon, held at FTMON Function Hall in Bacolod City.

The governor reported the initiatives, accomplishments, and ongoing programs and projects for the year 2023, that benefit the Negrense children.

He said that for this year, the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC) focused on the four core rights of the child – Survival, Development, Protection, and Participation.

The Standardized Intervention Program for Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) was also launched at the activity.

The event was spearheaded by the provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).
