Negros Occidental Gov. Bong Lacson reiterated his full support and commitment to the welfare of every Negrense senior citizen during the Provincial Program Evaluation and Awarding for Senior Citizens held at Nature’s Village Resort in Talisay City, today.

The activity was attended by the members of the senior citizens associations from various LGUs of the province.

Gov. Lacson said that the provincial government programs and projects, intended for the benefit of senior citizens, are in place through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Chiqui Gonzales.

The PSWDO also awarded the Outstanding Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Head, Outstanding Federation of Senior Citizens’ Association of the Philippines (FSCAP) president, and Best Supporting LGUs in the Implementation of Senior Citizens Program.*
