Governor Bong Lacson joined the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Provincial Summit held at Park Inn, SM City in Bacolod City today.
The summit presented the status of the National MSME Development Plan and apprise the initiatives towards business resiliency, development, and concerns of the sectors such as innovations, digital marketing, financing programs, and women empowerment, among others.
Gov. Lacson said that he is hopeful that the activity will greatly aid and strengthen the capacities of the local MSMEs in Negros Occidental, and assured support for their endeavors.
“I earnestly hope that you consider the challenges as your opportunities, not your limitations. Your Provincial Government is here to aid and assist you in your development so that you will be able to thrive in these fast-changing times,” he said.He also thanked the DTI for assisting the MSMEs through their various programs.
