WATCH. Gov. Bong Lacson signs MOA for skills and livelihood training of former OFWs and out-of-school youth.

Governor Bong Lacson signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Master Global Education and Livelihood Training, Inc. and scholarship grantees of the NOSP Skills and Livelihood Training today.

A total of 50 scholars, who are out-of-school youth and former OFWs, will avail of free training on Bread and Pastry Production NCII and Food and Beverage Services NCII.

The signing was held at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City, facilitated by the Negros Occ. Scholarship Program headed by Karen Dinsay.

The Master Global Education and Livelihood Training, Inc. is a TESDA-registered training institution and accredited assessment center, represented by its president, Gualberto Pugoy.

The said vocational scholarship program is part of the rehabilitation initiative of the Provincial Government, to lessen the impact of the pandemic, especially at the grassroots level.

It is aimed at enabling out-of-school youth and former OFWs to have access to vocational education to improve their socio-economic condition.

The Provincial Government will shoulder the total cost of the training, including the assessment fees, and board and lodging.
